Hard Day's Night a la Cherdo

Busy day, catching up my to do list, and I think I understand what the Beatles meant by the phrase, "a hard day's night."

How 'bout we meet here tomorrow? I declare October 1 to be Veg Out and Be Artsy Day. Perhaps I'm feeling so sassy that I'll do a new blog banner for October. Ciao!

    1. I'm with Shady on this one, Janie...whatareya doin' up at quarter to fo'? I can change my post time from 12:30 a.m. to something that facilitates a normal Janie sleep schedule. I know you live for my posts, but you need to expand...you can be all tuckered out for Willy Dunne Wooters...snooze, girl, snooze...

    2. I'm laughing so hard at Shady's comment below this one that I'm choking . . . (hours later) Okay, I think I can type now. You don't need to change your post time. I keep odd hours and prefer it that way. Nighttime is the right time. I only see WDW on the weekend, and he's a night owl, too, though he's also a day owl.

  2. I hear ya, dear Cherdo.
After last night's exhaustive probe of Janie Junebug...
    I rest my case.

Thank you for dismissing class early today. I can use a day off to hone my funny bone. (Don't say it, Janie!) Seems you and Janie and I all had challenging days yesterday and need a bloggy break.

Dad gum it, consarn it, I'm plumb tuckered out, yer darn tootin’.

And even if time ain't really on my side
It's one of those days for taking a walk outside
I'm blowing the day to take a walk in the sun

Have a safe and restful day, dear friend Cherdo!

    1. Remember, it's Veg Out and Be Artsy Day...I'd feel bad if you didn't honor it, SDK...go veg. Get a little piece of peace. Have a good day!

  3. A new October banner would be a great idea--I'd love to see what you come up with on Be Artsy Day. :)

  4. Veg Out and Be Artsy Day sounds like such a super idea, I think it should be a national holiday!

    1. If we tell everyone it IS a national holiday, maybe it will happen!

  5. I never got the title of that but I think I understand it now. The night following a hard day! I DEFINITELY don't get the part about working like a dog, though. My dog sleeps like a log far more than she works!
