  4. Good morning, dear Cherdo, and happy birthday to your dear mother and to your son!

You have at least one other small thing to celebrate today. This new post of yours appeared in my reader w/o delay. Now that's what I call progress!

The small thing I will be celebrating this weekend is a visit from my two month old grandson and his family along with other family members from out of state. Mrs. Shady is making a mess of lasagna (and a mess of the kitchen) and we also plan to do some sightseeing with them.

Another reason to celebrate is that our dear friend Janie Junebug will be guest hosting Shady Dell Music & Memories next week. Janie will have a guest post for you on Monday and will be babysitting SDMM most of the week while I am busy entertaining company. Please understand that I will probably not be able to visit your blog until at least mid week (another small thing for you to celebrate :)

I hope you are enjoying your stay in Atlanta, dear friend. Stay safe and God bless!

  5. Lets see, what to do in Atlanta? We lived about 90 minutes from there at one time in Columbus GA, and it was fun to get to the city for events, etc. The traffic is manageable if you go at the right times of day. Have a wonderful time, and happy birthdays to your family!

  17. This week I'm celebrating that I had a successful physical and won't have to go through that again for another year.
You being a lady of your gender, I don't expect any sympathy.
But, between you and me, they're never going to send me to prison.

  18. Isn't that a cute coincidence about your mom & son having the same birthday (or close to it)? I hope you'e having a nice time in Atlanta!

  20. I've never thought of Atlanta as a place to relax! My husband's company has an office there, though, and he can get rooms at The Ritz at a discount when he's there on business, so I'm thinking about tagging along and working there while he works, then seeing the sights at night!

  21. Happy birthday to all! Doesn't Atlanta have a nice zoo? We were talking about it yesterday, but I couldn't remember (and I've never actually gone - just hearsay).
