BOTB Results: "Bridge Over Troubled Waters"

The crazy train has arrived and
Josh Groban & Brian McKnight
were driving it all the way!

This was a tough one for any performer to cover. Simon & Garfunkel are untouchable in my humble opinion but you can't blame a guy...or a girl...or an Italian classical giant for trying.

How would I have voted? Just the same way you did: Josh Groban and Brian McKnight.

Sing us out, guys!

  1. Good afternoon, dear Cherdo!

Please promise me you will post next Friday so that I can unload my Friday jokes on you. Don't make me use them on Janie Junebug! I will, you know. I swear I will!

I am proud to be one of the three mavericks who saved a dear friend from a shut-out.

    See you Monday, dear Chedo!

  3. The tension was almost too much! I kept checking back to see if a comeback was comin'.

Well, hey, at least Bilge Rat 'n' Bocelli beat Simon & Garfunkel 3 to 2. That's sumpin', anyway.

    1. I'm just barely over my guffaw from the last observation you made about S&G vs. The World.

    2. HA! Thanks!

I'm glad you used quotation marks. Had you not, I never would have thought to Google that expression and realized you'd complimented me so.

      A 'Star Wars' junkie/groupie I am not.
'American Graffiti', however, is another (celluloid) story.

May the (80) Proof be with you!

    3. I didn't want to be accused of improperly claiming that phrase as me own! I can't have Lucas after me. The finances are strong with that one...

  6. I love that song. No one should sing it except Art.

  7. I love this song and feel bad for Bocelli but not Mary J. Glad the team I picked won:)

    1. Bocelli will be okay because he is ANDREA BOCELLI and we're not.

  8. Well that was a huge lopsided win for the guys. For the other team it was a matter of the blind leading the Blige. Ouch! I know. Bad joke probably in poor taste, but I couldn't resist.
