BOTB Results: "Fight Song"

WELCOME TO THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS!

Our battles take place twice a month: on the 1st and 15th.
The results come six days later: on the 7th and 21st. That's
when I return, total all of the votes, including mine
(if necessary), and announce the winner.

This music blogging event first introduced by our friends
and I'd like to give them a heartfelt "thank you":

Fae @ Far Away Eyes
Stephen T. McCarthy presents...

Well, it was a pretty clear that Alex Goot clobbered Benjamin Khent and KHS with his rendition of "Fight Song" but I still love both of you. Add one vote for the original, too, just to round out the battle.

But that's not the best part: you can still see the results of my friends' battles! The fun is not nearly over. Tip toe on over there and check it out those worthy battles.

YOUR DAILY DOSE

Now, sing us out, Alex!

    1. I hope you do! If there is anything worth snitching, I want you to do it with wild abandon! Hugs to you, J.

  5. Owza. I guess he did. Have you noticed that you can pretty well pick the winner on this blog by just casting the win for the one I DON'T vote for in the battle??? hahahaha.

Wow! My taste was definitely outside the mainstream in this BOTB. First time I've ever found myself not amongst the "In-Crowd". (Well, truthfully, I think it happened once before also.)

IMPO'TANT!: You said in another comment section that you sent me an E last week. NO-OOO-Ooooo! I never got it! I've been wondering why I haven't heard from you and imagining all the worst possible scenarios.

Will you please resend the E to me ASAP? I have two E addresses. Which one are you sending to? Do you have both? One starts with "2..." and the other starts with "Two..."

    POSTSCRIPT --
    Me quoting me here:
"My work schedule just changed from 62.5 hours per week to 37.5. All hours worked in 3 days, so that gives me 4 days off every week (barring emergencies or unforeseen crapola). I should soon be more current with my correspondence, visitations and comments."

    1. I'm a big fan of the "two" address because of its wonderful Swiss encryption, so I used that one. It makes me smile to be worthy of encryption and occasionally, I fantasize that I have something to say that is worth encrypting. Dream big, yo.

I'm in the mood to keep the schedule pleasant and trimming will put you closer and closer to that goal. 62.5 hours is toooo much unless you REALLY REALLY enjoy what you are doing.

  10. I love that guy's voice in the video above but it still feels like it's a song a woman should sing. Maybe it's because I heard it that way the first time...or maybe it's that women more often need to be reminded we're strong and we can do it!

    1. I had those same thoughts, Stephanie. Rachel Platten is the best version and I found a lot of females covering it. Thought I'd shake it up a bit!
