Battle of the Bands: "Get Motivated!" Results

Oh, it seemed to have so many possibilities! Who would win? The Foo Fighters with their brilliant take on "Falling Down"? The iconic Starman himself, gone but not forgotten, who could have been a hero himself -- David Bowie? Or the ever rockin' Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers?

The 1st Battle of the Bands of 2017: Get Motivated!

Well, it's a new year! I know, because I made sure this posted at 12:01 a.m. (EST, of course). By any measurement, it's solid 2017. Ladies and Gentlemen...and you others...it's the BATTLE OF THE BANDS.

As always, this tuney, hum-right-along blogging event was first introduced by our friends, Fae and Stephen, and I'd like to give them a heartfelt "thank you" to the one and only: Fae @ Far Away Eyes and Stephen T. McCarthy presents...

The skinny: Our battles take place twice a month: on the 1st and 15th.  The results come six days later: on the 7th and 21st. That's when I return, total all of the votes, maybe even mine (I had a tie in 2016!), and announce the winner.
