There's just one thing left to do, peeps:  go check out the other Battles of the Band and see how your vote stack up against the rest of the gang.

I'll see you back here on the 1st - deal? We will battle it out once more.

  2. A very, very nice return to 'Battle Of The Bands', DOC MacSIS! And I dig the fact that you stuck with the traditional opening and closing dates of 'BOTB'. And just like that, all is right with the world again. (Well... give or take.)

I'm already looking forward to what you come up with on the 1st of Rocktober.

  3. Aaargh! I missed it! Just now realized you were back in the BOTB fold and came here today to vote but was too late. :(
So sorry I missed it Cherdo.
Are you going to be doing 2 battles each month or just one, like a few of us are doing? I've been doing the 15th of each month but didn't this month because it was too crazy...

    Good to have you back...

  4. Philosophers call it "appeal to authority" which means "important people say it so it must be so." Solo, Ed Sheeran is pretty good. Ringo! I always thought Ringo the neutral diplomat and best at press conferences which were better than the songs!.. recently heard Ringo, back in the day, showed up at Paul's house - a proxy, mind you - and told Paul not to release a solo album circa the same time Let It Be was about to be released. Paul told Ringo to get out of his house. True story. And that's what the press focuses on. I bet they were friends again within a day. Ed Sheeran didn't bring them together... nice to see them come together. And as noted the Sheeran song is pretty good.

  7. Not bad, but decisive nevertheless. And as is often the case I voted for the artist that didn't win. Maybe I should have voted for the Beatles as well, but I prefer to follow the instructions and play the game as it should be played. The Beatles did the best version.
