There was something I wanted to say about this...what was it...where are those notes...
Ummm...how's everyone? How is your A-to-Z going? Are you visiting some new sites?
Dang...where is my cell phone...
- If you have the presence of mind to know you should do something, but you don't know what it is...
- If you've ever fudged a conversation in the hopes that you'd FINALLY remember what you wanted to say...
- If you write the wrong year on documents the first three months of every, stinkin' year...
- If you're driving and suddenly wonder how you got so far without memory of 75% of the drive...
- If you've lost your glasses...but they're on your head...
- If you've delayed leaving the house because you can't find your cell phone while talking on your cell phone...
YOU MIGHT BE A GEEZER.
(And that image at the top is purposefully difficult to focus on...like life is, sometimes...kinda fuzzy and hard to nail down.)

Wikipedia and the Internet are a divine gift to forgetful geezers like me -- I can search and find the name of the person, place or thing which is eluding me, without having to go crazy for 3 days until I remember it on my own!
ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh, Debra...that is what I do with my cell phone every day.
Delete"Who is that actor, honey?"
Uh, just a minute...click click click...
Yesterday. I was looking for a screwdriver I'd been using. Looked for it for a while. Found it in my back pocket.
ReplyDeleteBeen there. Not in your pocket, but in the "hey, where is that thing I actually have right here" aisle.
DeleteI almost forgot to come over to check out your post for today. Yeah, I can be very forgetful. I never lose my glasses or keys (unlike my wife who is forever losing things). However I seem to be in eternal state of thinking I'm forgetting something that I can't remember. It's usually some kind of useless activity though so it probably doesn't matter if I forget those things.

Tossing It Out
It would have been the perfect day to do so!! Keep on theme!
DeleteOh gosh I have done all of them except for the last. I would add that you are searching for your purse...while you have it in Your hand. You go to a room to get something but forgot what you were getting. Ohhh so many
ReplyDeleteBingo, I've done that, too. Should have called you for input, Birgit!
DeleteNot as forgetful as that yet but I have forgotten things I wanted to get at the store and yes, I have gone back to the house to get the cellphone.
ReplyDeleteJanet’s Smiles
I'm still in the "presentable" phase, ha ha. But I wonder for how long?
Deletethank you for sharing your thought...
ReplyDeletehave a great day
Uh...yeah!
DeleteI'd just like to say I have my two-post A to Z mashup all written and in the can (so I don't, y'know, forget...
ReplyDeleteThat is how you roll, brother. High five!

I am enjoying reading these!
ReplyDeleteThere's actually brain research that shows that the physical act of walking through doorways is directly related to short term memory (or loss thereof). That's why when we can't remember what we walked into the kitchen for, we remember when we leave and walk into another room.
(Only to forget again when we turn back around! *laugh* )
Happy AtoZ'ing!
