BOTB Results: "Me, me, pick me!"

Honestly, I'm surprised! Though I loved both of these versions of "Me!" In my mind, that dark corner of the music lovers' world, I thought this particular match up would be much, much closer. It's nice to be surprised every now and then, eh?

So, Peter - to the victor! Play us out, young maestro. Hit it, magic fingers!

As for our last three words, my cold cardiac muscles were warmed by the number of versions that addressed our place in the next world. I call "saved seats!" to meet up with you all there, in person. Or spirit. Or whatever form we might assume at that time.

My last three words? "Come, Lord Jesus."

But, till that day comes, you still have some stuff to take care of...namely, my peeps' blog battle tallies. How did your vote stack up to the rest? Did you find a new fav? Don't over to these blogs right this minute:

While you're at it, send a big ole' birthday wish to our fearless leader in  the battlin' blogosphere, the one and only Stephen T. McCarthy, who will be celebrating tomorrow.

He's worth far more than we pay him for the honor, don't you think?

Happy birthday, dear brudder-from-another-mother.

Love & Hugs till next time, peeps! See you on September 1!

  1. I did too much analysing in my vote. I actually voted for Peter. So it was almost a sweep.

    1. That's the second time I've done that in the past couple o' months. Maybe I gots de Alzheimers Deezeez. That would be unfortunate...but apparently, I can't count, so there's that.

  2. That was very decisive!

I'm with you concerning the coming of Jesus. I'm ready any time!

  3. Hey, thanks for the Boithday call-out, SISTER-FROM-ANUTTER-MISTER!

I'm still just a young 60 until 9:12 tonight. And then, at that point, there ain't no use tryin' to dodge the 'old age' label anymore. But I like to think of myself as fine wine 'n' whiskey - always better with more age.

Speaking of "dodging"... you only just barely dodged a shutout in this Battle. But... you managed to avoid it by the skin of yer teeth, and that makes me happy (not happy birthday, but happy).

To borrow a line from Ed Wood Jr.: Your next one will be better.

    See ya then, Doc MacSis!

    1. My next one will be better...I'm thinking about it now. That always helps.

Birthday boy, I hope you rocked it big time. :-)

  4. Cherdo,

Now that was a very decisive win! I'm late to catching up with you and I just noticed Stephen had a birthday recently. I know missed that. Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! Hmmm, wait a minute. Maybe I didn't miss it. It almost seems like I did send him bday wishes. Oh, I hope that I did! *sigh* Oh well...have a great weekend, my friend!

  5. And the Mike's vote against the main stream

Thanks for your personal yada, yada, yada,
Love, Cherdo
